Umh! Just found this now...new in any way.

How much of this is still applicable and working? Which is easiest to run for first time farmer / 55'er?

The best to start would probably be Ascalon in HM or the Shing Jea noob island also in HM. That's where i started again after a 2 year break to get used to how to play.

Im sure this has already been asked, but 13 pages is a bit too much to search through, personally :$ But is there a sort of "recommended" rune placement? I suppose the major decision is which one goes on the headpiece, and that is the one i cant decide

I just started farming this week and I have a question. I have been farming Minister Cho's Estate as well Knights outside of the Marketplace. I was hoping to move on the bigger and better things, specifically farming celestials in Nahpui. The builds listed are for 600/smite. I have searched around, but I don't really understand how to run the 600/Smite. I loaded the 600 build onto myself (N/Mo) and the Smite build onto my Ogden hero, but I'm confused how to use the smiter hero. Do I have to disable some of the smiter's skills? I think i read somewhere that ogden stays on the other side of the map. I'm sorry if this is really obvious, I'm a farming noob. Is there a guide to 600/smiting?

For a hero, disable the maintained enchants on their bar and then manually cast them on yourself (target yourself, and click the skill on the hero bar). Flag the hero outside aggro range of any foe, but within radar, selection, or compass range (Radar, compass and selection range are 3 different ways to say the same thing.). If the hero's name turns gray in the party window, they are too far away, and all the enchantments on you will drop. You can find many 600/Smite builds on PVX.

Yep looks like a good CoF smite bar, the only issue I tend to see is if Sig of Devo can keep up with the Banshees

I have 1 question tho: about the part of farming vermins for celestial weapons in Cantha u speak about a N/D build and a smiter. Can u give me the template codes of those 2 builds because I can't find them in the guide :S. If I looked over it just say so

Eek. I don't remember what I did with those templates - they were orginally a product of CE Devilman, who is still better at making farming builds than me. It involved a N/D with SS, Insidious, Plague Touch, Fleeting Stability, Mystic Regen, Dwayna's Touch, and a couple of other survivability skills (maybe Poisoned Heart and Armor of Sanctity?) and a Life Barrier/Life Bond/Balthazar's Spirit/whatever else Monk bonder. I really liked that build...

Unfortunately, this thread is outdated in that the builds still work, but a lot of the farming spots are so ridiculously unprofitable, it's silly. At some point soon over the summer, I'm going to make a post (it'll be MUCH shorter tahn this guide, mind you) that contains the necro farms that are still worth doing, including HM Raptors and 600/Smite teams in a lot of places. With a smaller post with just profitable farms (let's face it: Watchtower Coast? Really?) I might actually be able to keep it updated and not let it stagnate like I did to this poor thing.

Ty for the comments guys , this build gonna get me so much fun , I already tryd it but the scatter is really anoying , I also tried a degen-variant with Plague Sending, Ulcerous Lungs and Radiation Field but with no succes ... . The asuran skill Mental Block works perfectly well in this build as a replacement of Dwayna's Touch. Can u tell me how I control the aggro ? I tried luring them in a corner wich seems to go fine but not fast enough.

When you're in an outpost, link your build (CTRL + right click). Then click the build and put in the template.

The last post with necro outside market place i think is a varient of the old 55 nec which im sure CE is showing us is still doable and im sure we dont need a guide - as for the one outside the falls - who needs a guide as its straight forward and i managed to do it.
CE - what norn rank do you recomend as min for the falls as im guessing you need r4 above as min.
